Andrea says - "I am so excited to introduce to you the new beauty room and spa at Splendida Salon which I have designed!
Splendida Salon is the biggest salon in the Channel Islands so it was a real privilege to be asked to design this project. We decided to go for a modern and minimalist design while ensuring everything was of the upmost comfort. We knew the tiles would be central to creating a modern look with clean lines so I knew I had to turn to The Stone and Tile Company to help make my vision come to life.
The gorgeous extreme white porcelain floor tiles are stunning and make such a statement. They helped to maximise the sense of space and the white creates a naturally calming effect which was so important for the massage room.
The shower room tiles are the imperial white lappato tiles. These have semi-polished finished effect that glistens in the light, again perfect for the calming ambience we wanted to capture. We decided to use these tiles for the floor and wall as again we wanted to maximise the space and create a sanctuary that’s easy on the eye. The subtle texture is timeless and elegant. On top of this, it’s so easy to clean and super practical which is something we had to bare in mind when designing this part of the salon. I wish this was my shower room!
