Design, quality, style and great prices

Our Creative Director has been involved in trend forecasting and product design for over 20 years, and is pretty much an expert in all things design (well we like to think so). So it's part of our core philosophy that we understand our customers' needs, and ensure our product range is positioned to the latest interior trends. However, we also understand that particularly when tiling, design must have longevity, and be capable of evolving with the lastest trends. After all, tiling cannot be changed as quickly as wallpaper or paint.

With this in mind, we track the latest interior styles, and keep focused on developing and sourcing designs with quality, style & most of all, great prices.

Read on to discover the defining interior trends and styles that are shaping our product range.

Open Plan Living

OPEN PLAN LIVING

Trends in architectural design over recent years are now filtering into mainstream interior design where we see more and more people knocking down interior walls to create vast open-plan living spaces. Open plan living is a key trend that can be used to create free-flowing rooms, combining a relaxed and friendly living room and dining room into one area. This trend sees the development of larger format tiles such as hardwearing Porcelain Tiles, highly polished and light reflecting sparkling quartz tiles in tones of soft grey and ivory - which are perfect for you to create seamless open-plan designs.

Back to Nature

BACK TO NATURE

This trend draws upon balance and harmony and takes inspiration from natural finishes, organic materials and textures. The movement towards handcrafted products and timeless finishes has meant that natural slate products are perfect for this trend. Multicolour slate modular with its wonderful autumnal palette brings true authenticity a design scheme in a kitchen or open-plan living environment, especially when you team it with the latest warm wood kitchen doors. Grey Slate with its subtle riven surface and softer charcoal colourway brings a new neutral elegance to the classic vintage trend, and can look amazing with any colour shaker or slab front door.

In Door - Out Door

IN DOOR - OUT DOOR

We may not get months of blistering-hot heat, but when we do get some sunny days there’s nothing nicer than making the most of it. With this in mind, we see landscape architects designing plans for outdoor rooms. The design considerations are to create a seamless flow between indoor and outdoor areas, so the products used are usually compatible with the aesthetics of the home. Natural stone is the perfect solution for you to flow between these two important areas as seamless coordination is key. Slate and limestone floor tiles in larger formats of 600x400mm and modular sets provide a classic solution to coordinate with external landscaping and allow you to bring the in-door out-door.
